Requirements

Senior Certificate plus, Diploma in Supply Chain Management / Public Management / Financial Management or equivalent qualification at NQF 6. LOGIS / BAS certificates. Knowledge and Skills: Treasury Regulations, Public Service Regulations, PFMA, SCM Legislation, PMDS, Public Service Act, Human Resource Management, Batho Pele Principles, Communication and interpersonal skills, Problem-solving skills, Computer skills, Numeracy skills, Literacy skills, Analytical thinking, Supervisory skills.

Key Responsibilities

Compile bid adverts and documents. Ensure that the tender adverts are placed on the e-tender portal, tender bulletin and CIDB website (if required). Facilitation of bit evaluation processes. Provide administrative support in Bid Evaluation Committees. Preparation of contract documentation. Placements of 78 PUBLIC the tender outcome and results on the relevant platforms. Perform supervisory functions. Coordinate the implementation and maintenance of Supply Chain Management practices. Inform other stakeholders about the changes made in the bid management. Ensure that order register is used, updated and kept safe. Transactions are processed with the correct delegations (Financial, SCM and LOGIS). Follow up with Supplier in terms delivery on frequent basis. To follow up on unauthorised orders on a weekly basis. Verify bank details before the order is authorised. Prepare and place orders at suppliers. Ensure all required or necessary documents are attached certified. Perform administrative related functions. Allocate and ensure quality of work. Personnel development. Assess staff performance. Ensure discipline of staff.
