Requirements

NQF level 6 qualification as recognized by SAQA. Qualification in Accounting /Cost / Management Accounting / Internal Auditing / Finance Management will be an added advantage. Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the finance environment or related field. A valid driver’s license except for people with disabilities. Knowledge and skills: Knowledge and understanding of the relevant financial legislative policies, procedures and legislative frameworks and Treasury instructions and regulations. Knowledge of BAS and PERSAL systems. Functional computer literacy: MS word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Ability to compile report. Strong communication skills (written and verbal), good interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, planning and organisational skills. Good record keeping.

Key Responsibilities

Administer payroll management services. Maintain filling storage of payroll reports and handle queries related payroll. Administer the reconciliation of tax matters on a monthly basis. Monitor the payment of transfers and subsidies. Monitor, investigate and clear salary administration suspense account. 139
