Senior State Accountant: Financial Administration Directorate: Finance Salary : R413 001 Per Annum Centre : Capricorn North District

Requirements

NQF level 6 qualification as recognised by SAQA. A qualification in Finance / Accounting / Cost / Management Accounting / Finance Management will be an added advantage. Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the finance environment and related field. A valid driver’s license, except for people with disabilities. Knowledge and skills: Knowledge and understanding of the relevant financial legislative policies, procedures and legislative frameworks and Treasury instructions and regulations. Knowledge of BAS and PERSAL systems. Knowledge of Financial Administration. Functional Computer Literacy (MS Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook). Ability to compile report. Strong communication skills (written and verbal), good interpersonal skills, problem- solving skills, planning and organisational skills. Good record keeping.

Key Responsibilities

Provide financial and accounting services. Monitor the management of revenue and debt services. Facilitate the management of the revenue and debt services. Generate reports on revenue and debt. Monitor systems and procedures on managing revenue and debt.
