Senior Administrative Officer: Internal Registering Authority

Requirements

Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent, three (3) years Degree/National Diploma in Public Management/Public Finance Management, Internal Audit. Three (3) – five (5) years’ experience in NaTIS Motor Vehicle Administration. Valid driving licence. Knowledge: Knowledge and understanding of the National Road Traffic Act 93 of 1996, NaTIS Procedure Manual, Public Finance Management Act, Treasury Regulations and other Public Service related Legislation. Skills: Ability to work under pressure. Good written and verbal communication skills. Computer literacy skills, problem solving and ability to work in a team as well as independently

Key Responsibilities

Render the supervision of services within the registering authority. Manage the registration and licensing of motor vehicles. Manage the collection of revenue for registration and licensing of motor vehicles. Provide supervision over the reconciliation of cash collected/debit cards slips against the performed transitions. Check transactions documents performed by cashiers against the system generated information report (RD323 and RD324). Manage the administration of face value documents and all other application forms used by the registering authority. Ensure compliance to the National Road Traffic Act and Help Desk minimum requirements for sensitive transactions. Ensure the provision of equipment and materials to NaTIS Users at the registering authority. Manage the performance and development of staff at the registering authority. Compile monthly financial and non-financial performance reports.
