Procurement Clerk: Supply Chain Management

Requirements

Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification). Competencies: Knowledge of the following: Supply chain duties, practices as well as the ability to capture data, operate computer and collect statistics; Understanding of the legislative framework governing the Public Service and Work procedures in terms of the working environment; Skills in the following: Computer literacy in MS Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Ability to work independently and as part of a team and Communication skills (written and verbal).

Key Responsibilities

Register suppliers on Logistal Information System (Logis) or similar system; Request and receive quotations; Place orders; Identify redundant, non- serviceable and obsolete equipment for disposal; Verify asset register and Compile and maintain records.
