National Senior Certificate/Matric Certificate/Grade 12 with a three-year degree/National Diploma (NQF 6) as recognised by SAQA in Cultural Studies / Arts Management / Public Administration / Public Management/ Management/ Library and Information Science/Archives & Records Management/ Heritage & Museum studies/ Cultural Heritage Management/ History/ Fine Arts/ Performing Arts/ Cultural studies majoring in one of the following or related fields Music, Dance & Drama, Visual Arts, Film. Be a South African citizen. Must have no criminal record. Applicants must be unemployed and never participated in an internship programme previously.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the development of concept documents. Organise meetings and minute-taking. Assist in the development of budget and Implementation of Operational Plan. Assist with Monitoring of Arts and Culture funded Projects. Develop and update District database for Stakeholders. Establish and Maintain working relations with Stakeholders. Compile project reports. Implement Arts & Culture projects. Compile monthly reports for the section. Assist in implementing events. Implement outreach programmes. Assist with procurement in the section. Provide General administration support.
