Deputy Director: Human Resource Strategy, Planning And Information Management

Requirements

Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent. Three years diploma/degree (NQF level 6/7) as recognised by SAQA in Human Resource Management/ Public Administration/Administration. Five (5) years’ experience in the Human Resource Strategy, Planning and Information Management environment of which three (3) to Five (5) years must be at Junior Management level (Assistant Director). A valid driving license. Knowledge: Understanding of relevant legislation, policies and prescribe and procedures. Humana Resource Polices. Employment Equity Act. Human Resource Development Strategy. Handbook on Reasonable Accommodation for People with Disabilities in the Public Service 2008. JobAccess Strategic Framework on the Recruitment, Employment and Retention of Persons with Disabilities in the Public Service. Performance Management Development System. Skills: Management. Good management skills. Presentation skills. Report Writing. Communications (Verbal and writing). Conflict Management. Policy Analysis and Computer Literacy. Ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

Manage Human Resource Information Management, Post Establishment control and reporting. Manage Human Resource Strategy and Planning. Manage Employment Equity Planning and reporting. Coordinate Assessment of Human Resource Component’s ability to deliver and service improvement mechanisms Provide strategic leadership in Human Resource Strategy, Planning and Information Management. Compile reports. Manage the key areas of subordinates.
